In 2011, the Indian team won the title under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The final match of India vs Australia World Cup is being played on Sunday (19 November).  Both the teams will face each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.  Sri Lanka was defeated in the 2011 World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.  The Indian team has performed amazingly in the 2023 World Cup.  India's first match was played vs Australia, in which India won, and now the final match of the World Cup will also be played against Australia, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team is performing well and reached the final.  The Indian team has won all the matches in the World Cup.

 Indian team captain Rohit Sharma will make some changes in the team, in fact there has been no change in the team for the last 6 matches, because the team has won all the matches, and there was no need for changes.  Hardik Pandya had to stay out of the team due to injury and yet the team won all its matches, winning 6 consecutive matches including the semi-finals.

  India defeated New Zealand in the semi-finals to advance to the final.  The Australian team won against South Africa.  Now after 20 years, both the teams will face each other once again in the World Cup 2023.  In 2003, Australia defeated India by 125 runs, will the Indian team take revenge for the defeat in 2003??  The Indian team has avenged the defeat in the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup by defeating New Zealand in the semi-finals. Team India would like to avenge the defeat in the final 20 years ago by defeating Australia in Ahmedabad.
