Chasing the target of 209 runs, both the opener batsmen of the Indian team returned to the pavilion within 15 balls. Ruturaj Gaikwad was run out in the first over without opening the account. He couldn't even face a ball. Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to the pavilion in the third over. Yashasvi scored 21 runs on eight balls. After the fall of two wickets, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar took over the innings. Both of them made a partnership of 112 runs for the third wicket. Suryakumar scored 80 runs on 42 balls. He hit nine fours and four sixes in his innings. Ishan Kishan scored 58 runs on 39 balls. He hit two fours and five sixes. Tilak Verma scored 12 runs and Akshar Patel scored two runs. Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh could not open the account. Mukesh Kumar remained unbeaten on zero. Tanveer Sangha took two wickets for Australia. Jason Behrendorff, Matthew Short and Sean Abbott took one wicket each. |
